Runtime error possible fix???

I recently purchased this game and within the first hour experienced the runtime error that seems to be all over the technical support forums. I got it twice within the first hour of playing...

I came here to these forums complained about it, looked for an answer, etc...

After seeing there was no known solution I just sucked it up and continued to play.

When I began playing the game I originally changed the resolution from its default windowed and recommended state to one that I enjoyed more freely. After changing it back to its default I have encountered absolutely no errors or problems thereafter.

I am not saying that this is a temporary fix, these are just my observations and have been working for me...

Let me know if anyone else who is reading this has had similar or a much different experience..
