Any updates on server lag issues?

First off I apologize if there's an answer to this else where I can't seem to find anything in these forums. My boyfriend and I have been having serious issues with the lag in the game from raiding to gathering everything just jumps around. We both built new computers just for this game and we have an "excellent" connection at all times so I'm assuming it's on SE's end. It really seems to be a game wide issue and I'm really just looking for more info on progress towards a solution. Cause we all know how fun it is to lag. Getting killed by an aoe before the graphic even appears, knowing full well you're out of that bombs radius, a lag spike and allagan rot isn't passed on turn 2 and everybody dies. You know what I'm talking about.

I am experiencing a lot of lag in Ragnarok as well. It took 10+ seconds to cast a single protect. it has been like that after the 24th maintenance. Hopefully tomorrow they'll fix it.

I've been getting lag since the oct 23-24 Maintenance, because of that i can't do some of the end game dungeons and before that Maintenance i could do the dungeons, but lvling my lower classes was ok.

So hopfully the 27-28 Maintenance fixes this problem.

Was this perhaps the reason Friday i was crafting HQ items and yesterday rarely got past 5% for quality as synthesis was failing.
Also major lag at some Fates
