I'll just leave this here, again.
VO the cutscenes: already being done. VO the in-game NPC: wont happen just to appease you nerds. The cost and resources to VO hundreds if not eventual thousands of NPC dialogues would be outrageous at best.

at least I want to have VO for emotions and during battle/using skills

.....if rift could have voice overs on npcs etc and make a truely dynamic world with 10x's more content than this why couldnt se? alot of mmos have plenty of voice overs......sounds like se is a cheap copout on that stuff right now

because SE are not good at MMO's XD I will get hated for that but its just been proven over and over and over. Not to mention they probably dont get a lot of resources.
Two MMOs one of which was considered a success....over and over and over and over again! stupid SE they never learn!

Just want to clarify this here as I've been playing Rift extensively lately while waiting out the XIV changes:
Rifts voice-overs are 100% generic. A handful of actors recorded a handful of canned lines which are recycled throughout the game.
Dialogue is not voiced over in Rift. EQ2 has more actual dialogue voice acting than Rift, by far.
As far as content goes? Ok, Rift is a very fun game, I'll admit. I'm having a good time playing it. However....
You do the exact same thing at level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. All throughout the game. Here it is broken down in a list.
1. Close Rifts/Stop Rift invasions
2. Warfronts (Battlegrounds) / PvP (PvP content is SORELY lacking in Rift).
3. Generic, Kill 10 of X, Y & Z quests from 1 to 50. / Grinding
4. Limited Dungeon Raiding
5. Crafting if you decide to do that.
Over, and over, and over again. Every level, every zone. No variance.
And you just proved Rift has 10 times more content than FF XiV and it's more varied too =PJust want to clarify this here as I've been playing Rift extensively lately while waiting out the XIV changes:

VO's, yes please! =] But we have to face the truth.. FF XIV isn't an AAA mmo and Square is no longer an aaa company so I wouldn't get my hopes high =/

they are not cheap
just oldschool and live under a rock with ultimate ego and a group of fanboys support them, defend them no matter how bad their game is
They are cheap.
Cheap Servers, cheap copy paste, cheap corner cutting, cheap lack of voice overs, cheap lack of everything.
Probably the only good thing they implemented so far is the character models and gear quality. Even the armory system and crafting system isn't 100%.
