    Ideal CON setup?

    Considering you have level 50 and all jobs at 50, what would be the ideal Stats and actions/traits to roll if you were CON main only? Would you run shield+wand or staff? Which armor pieces would you use? What food would you eat?

    I'm interested in hearing what some people can come up with as to what their idea of the perfect CON would be =D

    Seer's Cowl, Toadskin Mitts, Toadskin Leggings,

    4 Black Pearl Rings if you're Nuking, or 1 Silver Amulet and 3 MND rings if you're just healing.

    Traits: INT, PIE, MND conversion traits are good, THM affinity is good, Fleet of Foot is good


    Role in Leve parties: Nuke mobs for big damage, use profundity and dark seal to boost dmg/accuracy. Use spells that are strong to mobs (e.g. ice aganst puks, stone against gnats, water against goats, etc)

    Use sleep for crowd control when necessary.


    Role in NM parties: Buffer/healer mostly....offensive and defensive power not as good as a THM. CON dots are ok to use. When not healing, using CON dots and THM dots are most useful. Nukes don't do as much damage to NMs as they should. Ancient magic is useless.

    You don't really need to eat food for CON, but if you do, Tomato Pie (Magic accuracy) is good.

    hmm hmm sounds good. I like your setup, a little iffy on the gear though since toadskin doesn't sync with CON (sad day).

    I personally go Harlequin Acton/hat/legs with bower's gloves and some random sync shoes. Jade Crook+3 is a must, of course. Since I never got much out of putting anything in to int, most of my points are in Vit and MND. I mainly Heal (since THM does more damage) and play CC (sleep and bind)

    I also use crown cakes, but Tomato Pie seems like a good variant.

    Oh yeah, I forgot toadskin leggings were not optimal for CON.

    +stats on gear aren't that great, though. The +mag atk and +mag acc on the Seer's Cowl is much more potent. If I'm tanking as THM, I wear Velveteen Doublet and Vintage Coif for the +HP instead.

    THM only does more damage to NMs. CON can do just as much damage (if not more, on occasion) than THM on leves.

    I'd go for the seer's cowl and jade crook setup, 3 black pearl rings and an electrum choker.
    I use bowyer's bracers, +MP is useless but you might as well use mitts anyway. Doesn't matter.
    Can't find or win harley tights for the life of me, but I'd use those.
    I use toadskin leggings, even if they don't favor the job the HP and MP is the only real benefit to feet that I see.

    Getting over 120 INT MND or PIE is pretty worthless, so I stick with my current setup, which is 86 int str pie and dex, and letting trait conversions and innate gear affinities do the rest. Maxing the job's stats doesn't seem to help any.

    I stick to pure T2 elemental nukes and elemental DoTs in parties. You can really layer on the DoTs and do a lot of hidden damage.
