Tips on how to beat Titan HM with DF

Healers should dps for most of heart phase too.

Not really required, maybe you can do SCH dpsing and WHM healing, but all healers dpsing is really a bad idea. At least one healer has to focus on healing, because in p4 you receive a lot more damage than p1-3.
And for the weapon, healers can do it with GC weapon, even if a ilv70 one would really raise the success rate, and dps just can't make it in GC gear, they need to deal damage. I've beaten the p4 without LBing with a WAR OT and 4 dps all in ilv70 weapon, even if I wiped a few times before getting it right.
The MT doesn't need a good weapon, he's just there to distract the boss.

Absolute minimum gear-wise is AK gear with DL accessories and Ifrit HM weapon (ilvl 60). Anything below that is unacceptable. These things are so easy to get and people like the above saying what they say is exactly why undergeared folks waltz right in and the party fails every time. Also what I don't see mentioned enough is that on the Heart phase, the healers have to cleanse the debuff or else you will not have enough DPS.

I did it with 2 DL pieces, 4 AK and the rest plain.
Only dps need such gear, healers and tanks can do Titan in full ilv50-60 gear.

Stick a DS Medica(2) and Regen on the tank at the start of heart, and then DPS until you see Weights. After Weight, top people off, cure through Tumult, top off/regen tank and DPS again. The outgoing damage in p4 is low.

I had a really hard time keeping the tank up in the final phase after heart with full DL and Garuda weapon. He takes way too much damage too fast. The other healer with me was similarly geared. Once I got my relic it was that much easier. I honestly cannot imagine healing it in my AF gear with a GC weapon. I'd be completely dependent on having the other healer carry me. Same goes for the tank. The damage mitigation with an undergeared tank is just not there to absorb the heavy damage they take after heart phase.

Tank is the only one I'll say definitely needs reasonably good gear - you need a good enough weapon to keep threat from the healers (as it's a threat-heavy fight) and being sturdy doesn't hurt.

You don't need fantastic gear to heal though - just good timing. In the last phase in particular, you need to know when to raid heal and when to tank heal - the damage alternates in a way. Even if people are injured from bomb blasts, you don't want to heal them immediately - in bomb phase you must focus on just curebombing tank and keeping him at full, for instance.

I did titan with DF with an english party we wipe a few times, but we did it on the 3th time. We had a tank and healer solo the last bit of HP left. English party's are much better getting this one done because they communicate better and that was the key to winning this fight.

I gave up after 154 tries in DF. Cost me 150k.
When I past 100 tries, I thought if I average 1k per attempt. If I go past 150 attempts...it would validate my spending at least in my mind.

Tried at various times during the day figuring I'd get different people. No luck.

Just bought my run. They ran it with 3 tanks (I was the 3rd), 2 heals and 3 dps. I lasted the whole fight, didn't get hit by anything. Bombs, Landslide, anything...the problem is getting 7 others in DF who can do the same. Fight is not really challenging other than standing where you shouldn't be. Which sadly even with big graphical notices...people still can't do.

I just gave up trying.

yep im almost considering farming for some gil then buying titan carry . I know I can do titan because ive tanked him to 5% before . It's just the scrubs with less than 3k hp who join DF groups and the unskilled players with good gear that's killing it for me .

Actually its making me turn nasty , I think ive done about 150 runs now and most cant even kill heart because they are undergeared or die in first wave of plumes .
