Tips on how to beat Titan HM with DF

I had a really hard time keeping the tank up in the final phase after heart with full DL and Garuda weapon. He takes way too much damage too fast. The other healer with me was similarly geared. Once I got my relic it was that much easier. I honestly cannot imagine healing it in my AF gear with a GC weapon. I'd be completely dependent on having the other healer carry me. Same goes for the tank. The damage mitigation with an undergeared tank is just not there to absorb the heavy damage they take after heart phase.

You just need to know exactly when you have to cast.
I had only 2 DL(a far weaker gear than a full DL one), but I did it:
At Earth Fury I precast Medica II (Earth Fury doesn't interrupt spells), then I INSTANTLY use Virus on the boss, wait that he hit with a single punch and cast Stoneskin: Mountain Buster will be significantly easier to heal. We were 1WHM (me) and 1SCH.
Then, Stoneskin after every Landslide.

never had to DF titan thanks to my FC. I spent the whole fight dead first try, but by the 3rd i could actually make it to the end and heal my ass off. I could do it asleep now, it's incredibly predictable once you understand it. Compared to coil, it's a joke. Just make a premade group, i don;t think you need great gear, people just need to stack for bombs and run to the right place, avoid plumes and use scholar bubble for jumps..

Don't forget mantra for jumps or stomps! It's one of the few times I get to use it and it actually matter, don't deny me my moment to shine!

Jokes aside, DF Titan is luck of the draw. It's almost a guarantee that at least one person will die, off the platform. You hope they're not essential. You hope there is enough dps. You hope the tank knows when to use cooldowns. You hope the healers know when to precast and are able manage mana. You hope people can dodge and don't have lag. You hope no one has an off day, or even an off moment at the wrong time. One of the best players I know get knocked off yesterday by an unlucky landslide placement on bombs and being about 2 pixels closer to it than me. It happens sometimes, and you have to hope that sometime isn't on your run.

I help with story stuff and primals all the time, but rarely DF Titan for the reasons above, and how crazy with rage people get in that fight sometimes. It's gotten to the point when I see some jerk raging on the road these days, I figure they just wiped for the 352nd time on Titan and heading to the liquor store.
