Help spending my Mythology Tomes.

If it is messing up, I'm currently dull darklight with AF+1 chest piece, Hoplite circlet, and my Relic. My hp currently is 7.3k in a group setting, 7k out.

At this point I'm torn. I have to save up mythos for a few weeks and I need to know which piece to spend it on.

I'm unsure if I'll see more efficiency out of buying my Relic + 1 since the higher damage/stats help my self heals a great deal, or if I'd be better off buying more AF+1 armor.

In this situation what is the best to do?

From my understanding all classes should get relic +1 first except brd so I would focus on getting the weapon.

I would certainly get your relic+1, there is no better weapon for you out there. All the other pieces you can buy, outside the ring, have equal or better counter parts dropping from coil.

I'm in a similar dilemma, but it's further complicated by the fact that I have two separate pieces to +1. I'm in as much darklight jewelry as I can equip (damn you, unique ring) plus DL gloves and Valor Coronet, the rest is AK gear because the heavy armor model is ugly as SIN, and I'm torn between upgrading my Holy Shield now, my Curtana in a week, or getting Valor Breeches in two weeks.

I will not buy Darklight chest or legs. Ever. Don't even ask.

Get DL legs, this way you can still see your head. . . . Upgrade Shield first, then you can get ring next or upgrade weap. I went with weap then ring, since there was enough left over I could still have enough remaining the following week.

I had the same problem, i wasnt sure if i should do bravura +1 or some af+1... i decided that the HDL body looks horrid and i had to get rid of it.. now i dunno if i should save points for 2 weeks for the af+1 head, or 3 for the +1

SHINY Relic +1 is what I would get. Then you have that 900 myth out of the way and then you can just gear for what you don't get dropping in coils.

No, but an equivalent (or almost) of all the AF2 pieces drop in Coil Turn 1-4. 5 drops weapons equivalent to +1 Relic, but nobody has cleared that yet legitimately. It's the best upgrade you can get that can't be gotten grinding Coil every week, so it's something you should prioritize to get out of the way.

I think that if you are at this stage and do not have Relic +1 and your whole party does when doing Coils you will have a harder time holding Aggro and that could be a real problem. Tanks have to stay geared at or above their party because the DPS players will pull aggro from you that much easier. I could be talking out of my rear end here because I will not pretend I know exactly how Relic +1 scales with other classes and holding aggro but if it follows gearing for the rest of the game then it would.

Just me having Ifrit Bow and 5 DL pieces I am pulling Aggro off tanks in AK and WP, CM easily if I am not careful.
