Just how CHEAP your Sub really is.

Just felt like making a post about this because I really don't understand how a subscription is a deterrent for some people when you like the game.

Assuming you're paying the highest price of 14.99 a month. That's 49 cents a day, or 2 cents an hour.

Yet these same people will drop $60 for a game that is over in 6 hours.

If you are Legacy for 6 months it's 47 bucks. For the Normal person paying for this game it's 74.99 i think it is for 6 months.

My rule of thumb when buying a game is to get at least one hour of enjoyment per dollar spent. This means currently most games worth 60 dollars aren't worth the price tag. Going by this logic FF14 is definitely worth it as I get over 15 hours of enjoyment per month. It also means minecraft is a steal for it's cost and games like Skyrim are VERY worth it as well.

A Burger King Whopper Meal is almost like 8 dollars...almost 10?
Or I think MCdonalds...Well eating out at a fast food restaurant for 2 is expensive for just that single meal.
I hate when people moan and groan over sub fee's.

I paid in almost 1000 dollars for wow, granted its not like car/medical/house insurance, but it does add up.

I always prefer MMOs with a sub over F2P with a cash shop. Nothing turns me off of an MMO faster than hearing it has a cash shop full of p2w.

I'm not saying all $60 games are a waste of money, but the amount of games being released with more than 12 hours of content is getting smaller and smaller. Fallout? Skyrim? Go for it, those are totally worth your money. I even dropped $200 the other week JUST to play the new pokemon, again, worth it. Because I play the sh*t out of it.

But the fact remains that a subscription fee is one of the CHEAPEST forms of entertainment.

If you go to the movies and get a drink you're gonna be spending somewhere around $20 for about an hour and a half of entertainment. You could literally login and play for 2 hours the entire month and be getting a better bang for your buck.
