Day 2 of the " Dressed To Decieve " bug that has plagued Goblin server

Okay so when i accepted the quest Dressed To Decieve that requires you to wear a Weathered Shepard's Tunic and slops and then it requires you to talk to 5 NPCs while wearing the slops and tunic. I had spoken to 4 of the 5 NPCs that are required for this quest . The last NPC needed in order to complete this quest is Knerl but the problem is when I try to speak to Knerl while wearing the Weathered Shepard's Tunic and slops he doesn't respond to me. When I am not wearing the tunic and slops that you need to wear for this quest in order to complete it Knerl responds. So basically the problem is we have an NPC here that ignores me and anyone else that is on this quest when we are wearing the required items for the quest which is making it impossible for us to complete this quest and progress through the main story

I am also stuck on this quest along with a half dozen or more players. When i have the Weathered Shepard's Tunic and Slops equipped i can't even get him to interact. When i take them both off he will conduct the "small talk" option, but when i hit the quest dialogue option it still just grays out my hotbar and does nothing. When i equip the Weathered Shepard's gear and try to choose the dialogue option for the quest it just grays out my hotbar for a second and does nothing. I really hope they fix this or this will be the end of me playing FFXIV.

I second this problem. It has been two days since any new player could progress the main story line of Gridania on the Goblin server. In case developers do not understand the immediacy of said bug, one can not advance enough to choose a Grand Company, unlock new dungeons, or access the Chocobo quest until this is fixed. It is not a simple guildleve not working.

Same issue as above: Knerl refuses to interact with character while the proper quest items are equipped, will "small talk" if they aren't. Tried deleting items, getting new ones and equipping them to no avail. I held off on joining the game when I saw some of the difficulties it had at (re)launch, apparently I should have waited a little longer
