    Do you think FF14 have enough plot to device to implement castle seige?

    like in Lineage 2?
    Say the tri-county alliance disband or new class like gunner or engineer will be exclusive for the empire, whoever choose to follow will join the invasion army? The bearer of light become the bearer of darkness .....

    Something like it is on the books, they've shown pictures of a proposed battlefield for it numerous times. We likely won't see it for a while yet, though, and participation could be the linchpin for the higher tier Grand Company promotions.

    Append: Oh god, they intend to make Hamlet 2.0 a Grand Company vs. Grand Company siege. Probably with crafters and gatherers on both sides providing buffs and debuffs. Hmm, that actually sounds pretty cool.

    In ffxiv you can play all classes. Adding a opposing faction ala horde. Would not be feasible. That would force you to create alts therefor rendering certain subs useless.
