honestly, i've been calling it AF2 this whole time (the myth gear). Unless they say otherwise...i'll probably keep calling it AF2 and that next set of artifact gear AF3. It just makes sense that way to me.

Call it what you will but level cap is 50 af2 shouldnt be in the game yet, and 2nd once level cap increases you will see the real af2 gear or hopefully relic gear

Well, considering we don't have AF2 yet (latest Live Letter pics of the next dragoon armor clearly had AF2 on it) calling anything we have now AF2 would be... silly. I call them AF and AF+1 with the non-AF gear being Relic or Mythic. But I'm an old XI player so that's a given that I'd call it what I do.

Isn't the JSE you buy Myth stones "relic" gear? Atleast it shares it's names with relic gear from FFXI.

I hope this is the case. I dislike the thought of AF2 being given by extremely short quests or bought with dungeon currency.
Dropping stuff that you want is so much more satisfying.

IMO that pic looks like the Mythology Tomes DRG Body. Haven't gotten the full set to compare, but the body looks like it could be the same to me.

The body piece in the picture and the current AF/Mythology gear is completely different. The elbow pads and the waist section are more flamboyant not to mention an actual tail component is showing.
