Well all i could say is look how long it took for Free Company renaming option, lol
Could we also get a toggle for the <FC> name plate on other PC? I would like less clutter on my screen but would like to keep PC names on.
This was actually already discussed way back when the game launched. The reason it is not implemented (I believe) is because FC's can have up to 512 members, and the resource allocation was difficult or something. Since the friend list is much smaller, they added that(was not originally there)
As a software developer I know how a small change request can be a huge headache to implement... That said, I have to wonder about the state of the game code where colouring 2D text based on a simple string match is resource intensive. This was actually already discussed way back when the game launched. PS3/server limitations. Literally one of those two.
I wish there was a way to turn all names off, except for FC members. I have all names turned off, but feel bad when my FC mates pass by and I don't recognize them right way T.T
I can't see a reason this should be refused, I support it wholly![]()
Was just thinking to myself the other day that this is an option we should have.
And I did my duty by searching the forums to see if it had been talked about before making a new thread!
Being able to change colors, and hide or display FC members would be a wonderful addition to the game.
I fully support this necro =P How is this not an option yet?
