I bet TERA will come to PS3 before FFXIV lol (even though there are no plans for it atm)

But TERA is coming to Japan shortly for PC, so maybe if it goes will they will release for PS3 too.

I'm waiting also for the ps3 copy. Gamestop has the release date at nov 2 2011 right now but the game keeps getting pushed back so it may get delayed again

"Delayed indefinitely"... Seriously Q4 2011 at earliest(And prob only a mention of ideal DoR)...Next summer after that. They are pretty much completely rebuilding the game ground up right now. Complete 180 on mechanics, classes etc...They would never think of releasing it until the new FFXIV is rdy.
There is a completely separate team right now working on the engine (even rebuilding parts, new code, etc.; while working on the PS3 version. So if at all you'll start to hear about the pc version major upgrades a good bit before even hearing anything about ps3.

I highly doubt a ps3 release will be announced until that whole list of stuff Yoshi-P wrote is completed and working.

They have it on record. Their priorities are:
- Battle/Armory system changes.
- Getting the game tweaked and cleaned up into a suitable state for pay-to-play.
- Then start worrying about PS3 release, Ishgard, extra classes & jobs and expansion packs.
They have deliberately avoided putting a time frame on any of these so as to avoid getting stuck in an "epic phail" scenario.

The PS3 release is indefinitely postponed. It's basically cancelled just like the 360 version. When you hear it's uncancelled, I'm sure it will be news everywhere.
