I think the devs were really clear when they stated that the PS3 version would be delayed indefinitely. I wouldn't expect to see or hear anything about the PS3 version until the devs are done rebuilding the game.

Indefinitely doesnt mean forever though and they are finishing up with the first wave of rebuilding before long. I really want to hear from devs on this. Anything else is just guessing.

i wouldn't expect to hear any info on the ps3 release until the end of this year at the earliest. if it comes any sooner it'd be a bonus, but if you don't expect it and it comes it is a plus.

My problem is that I am watching would be players lose faith in ever playing this game. It's not their fault they were promised a PS3 release. If the game gets much better before a large audience can access it I feel it will only anger the would be players more. At some point it needs to be released and continued to be developed upon.

Games get pushed back all the time, everyone always sticks with them.

Yea, my point being you make it sound as if the PS3 crowd has forgotten about FFXIV. FF games in general get pushed back countless times, and people never forget about them. This isn't true to just FF games but many games in general, FF at least has its name to help it out too.

I bet TERA will come to PS3 before FFXIV lol (even though there are no plans for it atm)

But TERA is coming to Japan shortly for PC, so maybe if it goes will they will release for PS3 too.

I'm waiting also for the ps3 copy. Gamestop has the release date at nov 2 2011 right now but the game keeps getting pushed back so it may get delayed again
