Hello everyone !

Phoenix Riders (PRide) is a midcore and midsized FC, currently looking to recruit some members (especially tanks, and some healers. DPS is tighter but is still possible). While we are not a casual FC, as we are pretty serious about tackling all matters of PVE instanced endgame, we do not have most of the usual hardcore "caracteristics". We do not have mandatory attendance; in fact, a lot of us have a wife/husband, and/or children, and/or full time jobs requiring to work late at times, and thus few of our members are able to be there for all events. We also play this as a game, and not a second job. During events, we are all on TS, laughing and talking nonsense during trash, and banting and teasing people when someone makes a mistake that leads to a wipe. In the meantime, we are serious about progressing, and everyone is giving their best during our runs -- but everyone make occasional mistakes and there is no shaming those who do a non-abusive number of them in our group.

We also like to keep it "human-sized". While we would like to increase the number of our members from our current 30 active members, we will not reach for more than 60 people, so that everyone is able to know most of the other members.

We are looking for 1 healer and 2 dps to complete our second raid group (currently progressing on turn 2, while group 1 is progressing on twintania). Raid times of the group are monday and tuesday 21.00 gmt+1, and usually last 3 hours. Group 1 is raiding on wednesday and thursday evening, and is completing it roster when someone is not there with people from group 2 for the highest turn -- which means that even if group 2 progress is slower than group 1 progress, you will still be able at times to go for turn 1 and 2 with group 2 early in the week, then do turn 4 and 5 with group 1 later on. Due to this, all our current group 2 players have had experience and/or cleared turn 2 and 4.

The most important thing we are looking for, should you be interested in joining us, is nice people that do not take themselves too seriously and are willing to progress, no matter their experience. If you intend to participate in coils runs, you will need to have about 80% DL first, and be willing to give your best during events (TS3 is also mandatory for titan and coil runs, but given how much fun we have in there, you will probably not think of it as a constraint after the first run ). Should you not be to the point where you can come for coil runs, you will probably be interested to know that we also run plenty of AK and WP runs, having lots of fun along the way, and are regularly doing events to help our members that need chimera/hydra/garuda/titan.

We are now looking for a bard to complete our second raid group. Note that most of the players in raid 2 already have decent experience with turn 1 and 2; turn 1 is pretty much a given each week, and turn 2 should not resist long to the group.

The raid times of group 2 are tuesday and thursday, starting at 20.00 GMT+1 until 23.00 GMT+1. Teamspeak 3 is mandatory. Attendance is not mandatory, but we expect people to be able to attend at least 80% of their group's events (basically, it is never a problem if you have something that come up, but you need to be reliable nevertheless). Applications for this spot require about 80% of DL gear (rest AK acceptable), and relic. If you already have the darklight, the 900 stones for relic in your backpack, and enough experience of titan that you can stand your ground in P5 and live to tell the tale, we can provide a FC run to get you through titan (but if you are not capable of surviving and dodging consistently, forget about it, we are not here to carry people).

Any other applications from people that are both nice and play well will be considered -- we can provide raid spots in our group rosters with people rotating to step out and give everyone equal opportunity to raid, if you are here in turn to help us complete our runs when we miss someone so that we don't have to pug the spot, and we will start building a third group once the second one is well on its way, which you will be welcome to join. We can recruit up to 1 tank (preferably paladin), 1 healer (preferably whm) and 2 dps (preferably ranged) in these positions, at this time.

We usually have lots of fun doing our raids, joking on TS and whatnot, and while we ask everyone to give their best during raids, we try to avoid as much as possible the "blaming game" when someone makes a mistake leading to a wipe and just try to focus better the next time.
