Race condition implies the winner is not certain. There's no such issue here. The server ALWAYS wins no matter what it looks like to you. The problem is that the winner (the server) is operating from an environment that the player is basically not able to see on time.
I don't have anything to add, but I wanted to thank the OP for posting those videos, as that is *exactly* what I am seeing on my screen when I try to dodge out of the red areas. I've spent the last month thinking I must just be terrible at this game because I can't dodge things, and it has really been bothering me-- it is kind of a relief to know I'm not alone.
Definitely not alone at all, which is all the more reason to keep the thread bumped upI don't have anything to add, but I wanted to thank the OP for posting those videos, as that is *exactly* what I am seeing on my screen when I try to dodge out of the red areas. Out of everyone in my FC, I'm the only one that comes to the forums at all. Most don't care about the game enough to spend any extra time trying to get the issue fixed or reporting it. They basically stick to going "I know you guys don't wanna hear this, but I was totally out of that".. and then others sighing and going "I know".. and that's that, they'll quit the game before taking the extra time to report an issue. So I'm kinda representing all of them as well, and I know a few others are in the same boat (representing entire groups that flat out don't do game forums).
Which means the 0.3 is not a bug it is working as intended. They just need to up the accuracy.
healing yourself for more than the next hit, then getting confirmation of it and still dieing is proof of a race condition
it is race conditions cause by unsynched threads of execution on the server
moving out of an aoe and having a chance of still being hit by it when the server knows exactly where you are is by definition a race condition
