People who ask this problem to be 'fixed' is missing the point. This isn't a bug or the result of cheap servers. You can play on very cheap MMORPGs and never experience the same kind of lag as FF14. Even if you are on a server where the hamster just died, the situation eventually improves when the hamster is replaced, or when enough people decided to quit the game. In FF14 you could be playing at 3am doing Titan and you'll get the same old predictable lag because it's built in to the system and not the result of cheap hardware. So treating like this as a bug would get you nowhere. Devs would indeed just say 'it's working as intended'. This is akin to have a 'super hardcore' encounter where it's intended for you to zone into a fight with no floor so you just fall and die. You can yell about fixing all you want but it's actually not broken when the design is just for you to zone in and immediately die. For any progress to make we need to tell devs to change the DESIGN of the game itself.
