Bumping once more.
Bumping once more.
What was posted in the 1st post + the good extra 100-150ms for EU players.
TL;DR let's start by moving the (EU) marked servers to the actual European continent (Netherlands, Germany ideally)![]()
What sucks is there all readying losing subscriptions over the .3 lag issues. I know from my chain of friends that 100+ people left, More hardcore were just playing it. They need fix the .3 LAG it is 2013 not the year 1970.
ty for posting this been relly mad when I am out of aoe and still get hit just bull in my book. I never got delay in any other big mmo befor less it was a free to play mmo that had same problem and that is Sever lag not on your end but the games end I hope they fix this soon. I don't care if they pay other big name mmos to help them finger it out just do it.
dont worry, when pvp comes it will be so broken because of this that they will have to do something with it![]()
Yes, if something isn't done before PVP comes out then it's going to suddenly be extremely noticeable for all these people that keep just calling people bad. Which, will be nice in it's own way.. really wish they'd fix it before all that though.
why would it matter in PvP? In PvE is where it seems more annoying, if we all have the lag and no AOE's to dodge it doesn't seem that bad.
Melee players literally won't be able to hit ranged players. "Target not in range". Also, range players will likely have trouble LoSing spell casts because by the time they see the skill actually casting and try to LoS it, it may have already gone off, or you won't have time to get behind something before it does.
Actually I think the lag is just so bad in general it's just going to affect everyone equally in PvP so it wouldn't be particularly disadvantageous, though it'd be pretty obvious that the lag exists once PvP is there. For every spell that you mysteriously cannot connect due to lag, you'll probably get an equal amount of spells that you mysteriously were able to cast successfully despite your screen telling you it was impossible.
I want to add my support. If anything ends up killing FF14, it will definitely be the issues addressed in this thread.
Just found this post earlier today, it made me happy to know I am not alone in experiencing this. I thought for a long time that maybe it was something on my side; a hardware issue etc.
What does concern me though, is that I haven't seen any mention from Dev.'s etc as to any type of plan to fix things. What horrible customer service for a pay to play game, if this is how things are left. To ignore the player base is inexcusable.
I wish all the best in getting something positive achieved to remedy things.
Note: Posted for support in the other 144+ Page thread also. Much gratitude to all of those that are voicing their concern and attempting to get a response & hopefully a fix to these issues. My thanks.
