Will 21 Fix Boredom?

I am really excited for 2.1. Crystal Tower is going to play a major role in the future patches seeing as all the floors will not be released 2.1. Barber shop makes my little girly side so happy. FC housing will be neat. The expansion of extreme primals, hard mode dungeons, and another dungeon not much info is given yet. I feel itll fix boredom for a little while. At least will we have more raiding content.

You all have to open your eyes and see some of the content that was suppose to be released in 2.0 wasn't because it needed to be toned down and changed from in beta. If you hate the game that much then just leave? Why crowed the forums with negativity?

Regardless of companies downsides and slow content push I will remain positive and love this game. While im waiting for new content sticking on my weekly coil raids I will help other players with their struggles.

I don't remember saying I hate the game.. and I certainly didn't come here to be negative. I was asking do people think the patch will lift boredom as progress is far too quick in this game.

So OP has the worst issue you can have in an MMO, and nothing the devs can do will ever fix the issue. The people around you are what make or break a MMO, and no matter how good a FC you find, if they dont play when you do you may as not have one.

Find a good FC with a good internal community and al your problems can be fixed now, as that is what allows these games to flourish for years. Its more about the people then the game to some level, surround yourself with junk and ppl who care about them selves only and the game ends quick for you, join a real endgame COMMUNITY where everyone actually cares about more then themselves and make real friends in game and you wont be feeling there is nothing to do, as you can have fun doing the things that area chore by yourself now.

If you're bored now I don't think patch 2.1 will have enough content to keep you going until 2.2.

Try out crafting/gathering or help out some people still working through content.

Consider that 6 years ago, XI had already had 4+ years of development post-launch, so they had plenty of content. I played XI during the first couple years it came out and it was similar to XIV's current content volume. Level 50 cap, not much to do post-story.

Um... unless you started pre NA release, the cap was 75. The first limit break (lv cap) was 50. Also, there's so much focus only on end game content which is limited but damn people , it still has that "new game" smell. There's quite a bit of content already in the game. Just because it doesn't hold your intetest doesn't mean the game lacks content.

Will it fix boredom? Depends on why you're bored. If your'e simply lacking for content, I'd say yes. And after you've conquered all the PvE in 2.1, there's plenty of PvP action to keep things going til the next

Remember that FFXI had been out for a long time before we got it in the US- At the japanese launch, FFXI had even less content than FFXIV does now.

Sure bro ;but coil 5 is still bugged without those bugs do u really think that good players wont already cleared it with less than one week after they cleared turn 4 ; and coil lock out is the worst thing I very ever saw in sub mmo ; does the fact that players with a lot time to spend earning full af2 in less than one month will disturb u and change ur life ? NO ;

Because its due to their Hardworking that casual players have all free guide without moving a finger and manage to clear HL content , right ?

In my point of view I d rather play with highly experienced player to help us when we had bad times than full clueless casual player and take decade to clear new dungeons.... also even if players are fully geared they can also spend their time to find new way to clear any dungeons /fully helping all of their FC mates /perfect their gameplay and farming all dugeons for nothing but fun and for spending their free time like they WANT , and make the game better for everyone ....

on all games i ve played , i was always in the top tiers players , and even if we cleared everything in less than one month , we had never experienced boredom just after it, but just finding more ways to have fun with our pals and had a lot of fun for several MONTH And YEARS ... because when we play a game and invest a lot of time on it, it's because we LOVE it and want it to be BETTER for EVERYONE .

the principal cause of BOREDOM , is ROUTINE and LIMITATIONS .....

because limitation just keep u away from exciting stuff and hard dungeons .... seriously , good fc clear coil 1> 4 in less than one our , don't tell them to pay 15 bucks per month just for 40 min of game content, and some ppl already have full hq 70 gears, full handicraft job at 50 and more than one class 50 ..... and they all are bored because of these limitations .if they want to make 100 BcOB 1 =>4 , per week , it's their life no ? don't be self centered and think for urself ...
