I agree with the community comment. The community in this game can be discouraging at times. But, you have to understand that most people find a good (smaller) FC and then stick with it and don't socialize much outside of it. VoIP programs such as Teamspeak, Ventrilo and Mumble help facilitate a feeling of friendship amongst the FC members. I basically never use the chat window in-game. Unfortunately, PS3 players are exempt from this unless they have access to a laptop or something they can use VoIP on. And even so, PS3 users are still handicapped when dealing with late game content.

Am I wrong though? If I was on PS3, I feel certain that I would not be able to reliably perform my job in Coil and beyond on a consistent basis. It has nothing to do with the person's ability, it is the limitations of the platform. How are you supposed to communicate in raids and receive instruction without access to a VoIP program? Being a longtime MMO player and raider, the concept simply baffles me.
