I actually will use this from time to time in dungeons if the tank looses aggro to something and its on me. However I also know exactly how far away to stand so that whenI push the mob back, it's just guna land right in front of the tank anyhow.

I use it for Garuda HM if the OT is having trouble picking up the the adds. Since they are doing mad aoe on the entire party it can save us from a wipe by getting it off everyone.
This. My whm bro just stands there nuking the slime boss when it targets him, then pushes him away right before the slime does it's swings. Everyone gets all scared, saying "oh god whm run away!" and he's all like "I do not run!" Boom, fluid aura. Slime flies back, swings, hit's nothing. It's pretty badass.
Be a badass, keep fluid aura.
I've always nuked the crap out of that boss, then run away at the last second to avoid the attack. But that is indeed the more badass method and I'll start doing that.

Only time I use this is on the second boss in WP, purely for fun. It targets somebody, I knock it back and root it for a few seconds. Other than that maybe when soloing at best![]()
Thanks much everyone. I'm going to utilize Fluid Aura more. Not because it's necessary but because it makes me feel cool.

I use it on second boss in WP for when it chases someone. If timed correctly, you can use it to push him Back when he is chaseing you.I'm debating whether I should just take it off my hotkey bar. So far, I had no use for it in the Wanderer's Palace or Amdapor. It was interesting at first but nowadays, I just run towards the tank whenever I'm aggroed. Will this ever have a use in like, Coil or something?

^This. Fluid Aura is great on Giant Bavarois. Wait until he glows blue (which means he's about to use his spin), then hit him with Fluid Aura. He'll get knocked back and then swing around where he "lands".This. It's also great fun to launch it at your friends.
You can use Fluid Aura on the slime mini-boss in Wanderer's Palace when it targets you (good since that boss does massive damage and can't be aggroed for a while). If you can't cast sleep on an enemy, you can push it away so the tank gets less damage (good if you want to DPS more). Apart from that, Fluid Aura's just the "oh shit" skill whenever something's on you and you're out of options.I'm debating whether I should just take it off my hotkey bar.
