Legacy to none legacy servers [DEV PLEASE READ]

Im not sure if this is the place to post this but its the best i could find.

The info on the world transfer service is up again for the full time service and yet it is still no possible for legacy players to switch to none legacy worlds and there is still no mention of when this will become available. This is information i would be very glad to come by. SE can we get a round about date at least please?

Putting [DEVS PLEASE READ] in your topic title does not make them more likely to read it, in fact they have said in the past the opposite is true, so don't do it.

Also, no response is needed. Transfering off legacy servers will be possible at which time SE has determined that the economies of legacy vs non legacy worls are more equalized. It is not a permanent restriction. Until then, if you're dying to be with friends, you should have had them transfer to your server when it was free.

The problem is that the economies will never equalize. 'Legacy' have been on every server since day 1 in the form of RMT, flooding the markets with gil sold at pennies on the gil to kids with too little intelligence and too much money. Anyone playing the game knows this. This leaves few reasons to keep holding onto the 'maybe' of early Beta.

They will never 100% equalize, no, because every server's economy is slightly unique. However, over time, the gaps between them decrease as gil is taken out of the economy at a higher rate on more developed servers. As more players on non legacy servers reach level 50, things will balance out. The charts showing how many people are each level will look closer to identical each time they take a sample. The gap WILL shrink over time to the point where the likely impact of allowing transfers is negligible.
