Please Do Not Implement Jumping!

People who say jumping is not useful, well you obviously don't play the game. There are a million places I would like to jump down from. It would make my life heaven. I don't need to jump 10 miles into the air like a freaking kangaroo, I just need to be able to hop a certain distance in the air and fall a greater distance down onto the ground.

Make it happen, SE.

I stated this before, I like how it is implemented in FFvXIII smooth and has a useful purpose. Also the combat system is pretty smexy to me too... but doubt we will get anything resembling it, but time will tell!

Jumping in FFXIII is stupid.

You jump unrealistically and look retarded doing it, and can only do it in retarded places.

Give us CoD-style jump/climbing for getting over obstacles, and also give us a free jump button that lets us jump a small distance in the air so we can JUMP DOWN FROM LEDGES THAT SHOULD BE EASILY TRAVERSIBLE.

And put it on a cooldown to satisfy all those noobs that don't want to look at people JUMPING REALISTICALLY DOWN FROM LEDGES.

There's plenty of things already in FFXIV that don't NEED to be in there. Like the birth date and sign, those don't do anything. Oh, neither do the races you pick. Oh, and the surnames, those don't do anything either, I guess we should take those all out then! What's that, you say some of those features will eventually have some use? Well, then why can't the developers somehow design future zones to make use of jumping? It's kind of scary that you all think SE can't somehow make a jump feature work for FFXIV. Even if they don't make use of it, it still should be something implemented because I'd rather have an unrealistic jump than not having it at all. People can jump in real life, and it would be more "realistic" as everybody loves to argue, to at least have the act of jumping even if you jump a tiny bit higher than the average person. It's a game, after all. Oh and by the way, I'm not saying this has to be a main focus for the game, I really don't care when its implemented, I'd just like it to be implemented whenever they have the time.

Not afraid of people jumping or care if they bunny hop. But at this point it's a friggn waste of time if there is no platforming.
