I think Primals should have a replenish command.

Then at the start of every fight someone should say " Hey I am new how do I do this ? " and that would get rid of the cry babies ......

I like the way you are thinking. Meanwhile all new people should say they are experts, to fool them into wiping at least once before leaving.

Last night I had 4 out of 8 people go AFK in CM after the first boss. One of them being the other tank. Was so much fun *cough*. Needless to say, I left.

99% of server shouts in Revenant demand EGR: Experience, Gear, Relic. For anything. Also, most shouts for Garuda / Ifrit are for farming parties - they won't let you in if you just want to do once for relic quest, for example.

This seems to be the norm on my server, Cactuar. "LFM HM primals, must have full darklight, must have relic, know fights, no melee". "LFM WP/AK, must have relic, full darklight..."

I've had many kills against Ifrit and Garuda with the DF. Titan groups seem to regularily kill the heart now....but they usuall fall apart shortly afterwards.

theres no reason to be dying on garuda anymore, id be doing the same thing. Im not gonna sit ina group and bash my head against a brick wall when its unneccesary to do so. If it fails one time, im done, waste of time. if someone says they are new, i gotta see who the hell is saying that, if its a healer who cares, if its a DpS who cares, if its a tank, bye, im not even gonna waste my time cuz its going to be a failure.

You're expecting too much of a DF group if you think there's no reason to be dying even on garuda. There are still plenty of people new or inexperienced to the fight be it a tank, healer, or dps. No need to waste other people's time just because you can't handle a wipe if an inexperienced tank happens to show up.

Agreed, that's not even considering deaths that aren't even the person's fault. The last time I got killed by Garuda, it was due to my video driver crashing during her first phase. In the 5 seconds it took to reboot, she had teleported and I had no time to evade a one-shot kill. Other people have failed due to their wireless peripheral's battery dying at a bad time. Murphy's law is absolute, and no one is above it.

The video driver crash used to happen to me, too. I just updated the drivers for it and poof, hasn't happened once since.

Mine are up to date as well, I think it has to do with a hardware issue I've had since April. My GPU had to be completely replaced, and while the new card is the same make and model, it has never fully worked right. I've taken it into a tech, but they can't find anything wrong.

Too bad you cant thumb down people on this fourm. You are wrong, there is still reason for people to dying on Garuda, especially it is a new player playing a tank role. Tank role relies on actual experience, and dying is part of learning process. Your type of mindset would never survives in FF11, you are still here playing only because DF allows social outcasts to exist.
