It was brought to my attention that we never made a public report on the results of Excellence's Newbie/Lowbie Giveaway, which occurred last week. Our goals for the Giveaway were threefold: to help Newbies/Lowbies acclimate themselves to life in Eorzea, to give something back to the Famfrit Community and to do a fun group activity as a FC.

In short, we had a blast, both preparing for the event and during the event, itself!

We stationed ourselves in the cities and beginner zones, making announcements that gifts were being given to Newbie/Lowbies. Although it was difficult competing with gilspam, we were able to make contact with folks and gave away many items. As an added bonus, we heard from several folks who were too high in level to benefit from our gifts but who, nevertheless, expressed appreciation that we were doing something to help build the Famfrit Community.

We hope to do another Giveaway in the near future!
