Adding West/North/East/etc. to locations during teleport

Would it be too crazy for me to suggest that they add something like "(East)", "(Outer)", or something similar next to the names of the places you are wanting to teleport to? There's plenty of room. The only reason I even suggest it is because I can never remember which location will send me where, despite going there multiple times in the past.

I had to teleport to five different locations before finding a specific area and ended up wasting a good bit of gil (well, a good bit in teleportation fees anyway). I requested this during the beta too, but a lot of people disagreed and said that everything was easy to keep track of and/or you could simply create a word document for it. Not everyone's memory is that great, so it shouldn't be surprising that people can get lost sometimes, even if they have multiple classes/jobs to level 50 or whatever.

Just out of curiosity, how many people would support this idea to be implemented?

Yes please. But for now, you can look at the map first and see what camp is in the area you want to go before teleporting.

I support it, too. Until then, I've got into the habit of favoriting the major towns and just taking a chocobo from there if I can't remember the specific location. I have terrible memory when it comes to those things, and I really hate choosing a random general zone, going back, checking the next zone, going back, checking the next zone, going back, checking the next zone .......... until I've found the right place.

I really like this idea as well it would have saved a lot of wasted gil zoning around during the first couple weeks!

I agree with this idea. I can't remember the warp points/zone locations either. It would have been easier to remember if everything wasn't called north/east/south/west.

Seems easier to just double-check your map than have SE rename all the aetheryte points in the Teleport map.

Ideally, the teleport menu would actually be a map with different locations you can click on. >_< It'd be a million times more user friendly.

I generally say, "If you don't know where you're goin, stay the f*** home." But I'm usually screaming that at idiots on the road while driving home from work.
    Though, it still applies here.
Look at the map first, THEN teleport. Takes 5-10 seconds. No need for SE to waste time and money making a change for something that is working just fine.

Actually, I'm glad you brought that up. There are roads used in North America which have 'North', 'East', 'West', etc. attached to them. Sure, you can look at a map, but it's just as convenient for someone to say:

    "Take I-56 North"

rather than having to pull out a map, especially if it's in your area. I don't see how adding these to area names would actually take away anything from the player. I only see positives in adding such a feature, honestly.
