Please remove the ability to roll 'need' on Titan.

I mentioned Titan specifically, not all loot.

Judging by the responses, the solution is pretty clearly don't help anyone with Titan. I didn't even want the shield, I passed on it immediately; it's just rude to roll on something you don't need when half the group has been helping you for hours and other people could actually equip it (the armoury system exists).

If I was running Titan to steal the bow I would still be upfront that the mechanics enable me to do this, rather than try to justify it. Upgrades > vanity.

This is not a game design problem, this is the problem of selfish players or lack of communication.

Something simple like "Hey, I am levelling a Black Mage, if BLM staff drops, can I have it please?" is a good first step.

If there are people who don't listen, and your party originally agreed to that consensus, feel free to blacklist that person, and spread the word.

I still go for Titan regardless, the fight in itself is pretty fun.

I'm a Relic Paladin who rolled need on the sword, and when the shield dropped later because I was helping someone else with their Relic quest, I also rolled need on it.

I am allowed to roll need on tanking gear if what I just did is tank the encounter. It doesn't matter if I'm doing it because I want to own every piece of gear in the game, or if I'm doing it because I want to put it in my vanity slots later. It's my right.

Until then, if a sword or shield drops and I want it, it doesn't matter if it's an upgrade or a downgrade, I'm allowed to roll on it because I'm the Paladin who's busting his rear tanking the encounter for you at absolutely no personal gain besides the off-chance I'll get vanity gear out of it.

I literally lol'd when you felt the need to mention the whole fight and had to imply in a way that you are good and the tank is bad therefore he shouldn't get the loot, cause let's be real, why else would you even bother mentioning your "I'm the hero of this story" fight?

if you want alt loot, mention it before the fight, if it's a pug and the person that rolled need declined,then there's nothing "rude" about that, because why would he agree, you mentioned you're not even leveling a tank yet when he can go ahead and show off his titan shield at mor dhona.

And thats why they need to just remove the whole random drop and add "Primal Tomes" of some sort. So people can just down the primals and use their currency on the weapon of choice. It would really get rid of all the headache that RNG does to people and their rewards.

No, please for the love of gods, no. We don't need any more tomes than we already have. Besides the random factor is exciting! Frustrating but exciting.

No. I understand your frustration, but having a variety of skins when vanity slots are implemented is also fun!

Too bad. Vanity slots are coming soon and I wanted all the primal weapons. If people wanted the paladin trinkets they should have come tank the instance instead of desperately asking an overgeared paladin to do it for them to make the fight easier.
