That's actually a pretty good rationale. Though that was more towards those who don't explain boss mechanics then leave on first wipe.

For some reason when I was posting this last night I didn't even think about PS3 players, that's a fair barrier for sure. Also, I don't expect people to be "chatty," the presence of a ticking timer kind of deters against that (making FC/LS runs less entertaining than they could be, actually).

I usually say hi then pull 4 packs of mobs with the healer freaking out and sprinting to keep up... heal me and of course I don't throw any aoe taunts then watch the healer die then everyone else go down which then
causes me to tell the group they are bad and I join another dungeon almost instantly and do the same thing over again while the other poor people are waiting 30+ min for a pop.

Life and run on sentences are good as a tank. :-)

Honestly, Im not chatty. I like people, and I read what they say. But I do not like to type much in dungeons. I'm usually sitting in my FC Team Speak talking...

I have no problems talking to other people in dungeons below level 50. If something bad happens in a group where everyone is talkative and getting a long nobody slips into rage mode when a problem does arise. If more people were like that at level cap then I doubt we'd have such a toxic group of usually terrible players with bad attitudes. Not everyone has played this game since 1.0 or even 2.0 launch...and as Mom always used to say...You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Every group I join, tanking, dpsing, or healing, I say Meow right off the bat. Some people laugh, some don't. If some one asks a question I mew or mya meow. If someone doesn't know a boss strat and asks I explain it to them politely. If there's a really cute kitten I flirt. (I don't care who's on the other side I'm just having fun.) I offer critique if someone asks for it. If the tank is a fail tank I offer to drop and re queue dungeon in progress as paladin so we can finish dungeon properly, same with healer.

Rarely do my groups fail or not finish a dungeon.

    Also meow.

And that's exactly how it should be. Always nice to see good people still out there.

I agree completely. I'm an ice breaker/mediator type, usually first to chime in. Usually after I admit my experience level, ppl chime in with theirs. I announce my experience level with the current content, ask for suggestions or info from the tank, if he/she has any prefs for my role. If I am new to something, I am VERY open about that fact from the start. If healer needs help I ask first before assuming.

I try to establish which person in the group has the most experience with the content. After the content is done, I try to thank ppl as much as possible and say bye.

As long as people are polite, I don't have any issues with suggestions or crits. There is much to be said about how ppl should know their role to begin with but its always possible that ppl don't know and in that circumstance, I feel it is best to communicate because teamwork is the key. Skill and experience can be trampled by lack of cooperation.
