Im as open to new ideas in FF games as the next fan...but yeah, we dont need more than chocobos for mounts.

Sounds cool! Maybe a black one for flying and a golden 2x2 Chocobo, as seen before. Got any ideas for that, Teknoman?

Basically you wrote a ton of stuff and hardly anyone will read that. If that was in MS word it would be like 10 pages or more.

I like everything here except the idea of Chocobo combat. Pimping your ride with gear is one thing, but implementing chocobo combat is a long way off.

I trust you blindly here, Rhen, and assume you're right since - I have actually no clue but, yeah, it sounds like a lot of work. Pictures of "Aeolian Saddles", "Malachite Harness" and "Loyalists Helmet" came to my mind and I couldn't stop it. When I thought about later, I felt like maybe making the Chocobo a huge part of the combat would change the experience in a bad way. But who knows. Have there ever been fights on mounts somewhere? (^,^)

Yeah, I considered that. But I decided to still do it, for there's always some peeps who enjoy going a bit further than the usual level interaction on particularly this forum. There are always people who are different from rest... And it's for these 2-3 people. (^-^)
Also... I really enjoyed getting lost in ideas and fantasies and think about stuff.
Therefore alone it was worth it. *giggle*

I hope, though, people who are new to Final Fantasy will at least read the "About The Chocobo" paragraph. I think it's know what a long way it came.

It would be great to see of of this ingame. Especially different Chocobo breeds and armored Chocobos.
