I can confirm that OTP does not remove the IP check. I've been using one since before Beta 4 (had a FFXI account). I have two computers at home with two different internet IPs. I had to change my password recently due to "suspicious activity" caused by logging in with the other computer. I'm guessing that SE's system was apparently able to learn my location, because I've used the other computer since with no further issues.

I can confirm that it does remove the check. Play at home and my laptop at work on break. Even my work desk computer sometimes (tho its a POS). Never had to reset my password.

Friend played at work once then went home and he had to reset. Didn't have a keyfob.

I have had the thing since it came out. Have never been forced to reset my password in all the locations I have played.

the matter is not the keyfob, the matter is this crash is causing me to have to reset my password to the game several times a day due to crashing and the logging back in.......
