Please do something about the BOTS

There is a BOT in Dragonhead stealing the best place to farm fleece and ruining the economy of the game. Thanalan tea leaves are a lv 50 botanist farm used to make an MP boost that sells for 8k a pop. But the leaves are selling for 28gill ea. WHY?? I believe it is because Gold sellers are flooding the market so the only way to make gil is to buy it from them. And , if that's true , then SQ-E needs to do something about the BOTS fast!!! Am I the only one seeing this problem or do others feel the same way I do?

How do you know it's a bot and not just another player farming the same thing that you wanted to farm?

They do address bots... after you report them. Making a thread on the forums won't change anything. Just report bots as you encounter them and SE will investigate them.

Go out and look for yourself. No Human could react to spawns that fast and nobody has EVER gotten a response from this character. Even when I'm farming, I will wave or something when someone tries to interact with me. Of course, without the software and access to game code, I can't be 100% sure and don't claim to be. BUT I and everyone I've talked to believe this is a BOT.

One thing you may be overlooking......it is much easier to level botany to 50 than alchemy. The problem this causes is a huge surplus of mats and not enough high level alchemists buying the mats to keep up with supplies. I suspect that once more people level up alchemy and demand the mats, prices will rise.

Er, what? Triple-turn-in leves make *any* Disciple of the Hand level much faster than any Disciple of the Land. Turning in HQ means you can get a level in about two leves.

Don't be naive. These bots are real & notorious. I caught some1 in vid who was farming dimerite mats 24/7. Worst of all, they teleport as well every time a new mob spawns. Saw that kind of bot advertised in YouTube.
I tried to hunt dimerite myself & it was time consuming compared to gathering. Yet zalera's marketboard is flooded with a 99 stacks of stuffs owned by same retainer.

This game is good but this would turn off some honest players to play this game.

I've reported two so far and they've been gone the next day. Report each one you see.

Sorry to say. I seen 2 player bots ( jammable with trading them) and 1 ( not jammable) since launch till now. Yet to be banned.


I reported them so many times. Just give up on doing it.
