Goblin and the Forums

Hello all,

I am typing this message as a question to players on Goblin and there experience in game, as it pertains to what most people on the forums say.

in the general and role specific forums, I see a lot of b*tching and complaining to put it bluntly. The community s*cks, FATE grinders are horrible and leave halfway though making the FATE incomplete... No one wants to help people out just for the sake of the community. No Hydra or Chimera groups... the game is dying, etc, etc, etc.

I really don't see any of this on Goblin. I read countless threads on all of the above subjects but have never really seen it as a problem on Goblin. I can get a group for any dungeon NP without Duty Finder... I see people constantly shouting for Chimera, Hydra, Behemoth, etc... Ive never encountered a horrible FATE party (don't do many), and by and large the community on Goblin seems great.

Am I missing something?

Goblin is one of the lower population servers. I think that has allowed a more laid back environment to flourish.

Goblin seems like a good server to me, with some decent-minded progression FCs like Reliquary, and plenty of other FCs large and small that seem willing to help out and are generally friendly. I've encountered a handful of negative or elitist people on the server but not many.

I certainly think Goblin is great! There are always people shouting for groups for just about everything! So far I've encountered a ton of people who are willing to help even though they're not in the same Free Company. I've found a number of friendly Linkshell's just full of players ready to run things with!

I am glad that I chose Goblin as my home then ^^

I have a few IRL friends that are interested in playing but wanted a densely populated server. Knowing the awesome of Goblin though, I hope I can persuade them that less is more in some situations.

Yeah, I've had nothing but good exp. on Goblin as well. Plenty of helpful folk to start. Found a great FC from the forums as well. I wonder if the world transfer did anything to our pop. I seemed to notice a bump in the market but can't know for sure. But overall am totally happy right here.
