Xbox 360 Triggers not being recognized

Hello! For some reason on my Xbox 360 controller, even after I set up the settings for it using calibrate, etc. the triggers are not working on my Windows 7 PC and don't bring up the cross hot bar. This used to work when I first started playing the game, but not does not. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it? Thanks!
