FFXIV on Facebook and Iphone? Seriously, why not!

World of Warcraft does it with their Iphone app. They even charge a monthly fee for some features so i don't know how difficult it can be if it's something that was already done.

As for it being profitable, Blizzard is still supporting and updating the app with new features, they wouldn't if it didn't work.

Im going to get so hated for this but Blizzard are better developers than SE, SE have already stated its very difficult to have cross-zone shouts in XI stating the server load would be 3 times as high if you throw in the whole of jeuno+rulude as a single shout zone, this I find very poor server structure.

Blizzard runs no the Battle Net and chat is put through there for all Blizzard games and that is how it works so well for its communication features. You can talk to WoW players through other games and such. SE right now cannot do a lot of ingame features due to bad server structure and this is why I don think they will make a facebook/iphone app anytime soon for communication. At least not anytime soon.

The community could probably craft one together XD like on XI.

There's an Android App that let's you chat in game from your phone over 3G.

Its quite simple, you install a program on your home pc, login as normal, open up some ports that chatty can listen in on and then you just install app on your phone, then you send messages to your home pc which the app will pick up and type out ingame for you.

SE have cheap servers that why and we all know it and they have poor programing. Also maybe becuase wow such a cheap made game the look of it vs FFXI which is a 2year older game. Also you have to put in a count Blizzard make 14.99 x12mil and they can buy lot's of good severs vs FFXI which make only 12.95 x ??? amount of players that played ffxi.

So it could be becuase wow is cheap looks and easy to run or becuase blizzard have more money to get good programmers to do the work on the servers.

At the end is how much money SE have look at players who want a ffxi port to ps3 with better looks is it hard to do it? maybe does it cost a lot? yes more then making FFXIV and remaking it like there are now.

Did you try font creator 6 also known as "high logic font creator"? To save a font you'll need a legit version so go download it at one of them legit sites everyone goes to *whistle* then just load it in and then Tools > Glyph Transformer > and at bottom it says "Outlines - Scale" with some %, put it to a % you think would be more suitable, If you go too big it might go outside the box so would need some adjusting in the other options.

Ya i download i just did not know how to make the font bigger o.o thank you so much how big did you make yours? so i know how big i have to make mines and change it little to make my font better for ffxiv.

and what the option to make the box bigger ; ;sorry for asking so much a noob when it come to this.

SE has a lot of money too, i think in the end it all comes down to good and bad management.

*Insert Square Enix comment about not wanting to give players unfair advantages here*, I don't know about you guys, but I actually know people who refuse to be on facebook due to the privacy rights, and I neither have a iphone nor an android (i know I'm a nub, I still have a nice touchscreen though, if it was a super compatible app for most modern phones I'd be cool with that)
