    BRD AOE Rotation

    Hello all,

Just looking for some info on the Bard AOE rotation from the experts lol. This is what I'm currently doing

    1. SS>BL
    2. Wide Volly>raging strikes
    3. If proc rain if not wind>blood for blood
    4. If proc quick knock if not venom>fire arrow
    5. Tab target>Wide Volly
    6. Repeat using BL on cool down and other buffs when needed

Does this look about right? Or am I thinking about it all wrong.

    Thanks.

you are talking about WP or Coil? if WP then just
    1. quick nock
    2. flaming arrow
    3. buff up
    4. foe reqiuem
    4. quick nock
    5. Off GCD skil
    6. quick nock

Wide volley cost 20 more tp while deal the same amount of damage. Mob in wp should be around the tank so you dont need the extra aoe from wide volley.

    for coil turn 4
    1. flame arrow or RoD
    2. foe requiem
    3. single dps. Brd aoe is weak like crap, dont bother to do it with mob higher than your level. You have better dps using single target than using aoe and more importantly it drain TP even when you have invigorate

    Ty

Im not up to coil yet or even close. I know my dmg won't be great and I'm not expecting it to be I just want to maximize what I can do so I'm not a liability in dungeons.

This does help Ty very much.

    Hope this helps!

I was wondering the same thing about aoes myself on a bard. I mean obviously you should always be putting up flaming arrow off the gcd. And then you have rain of death with its obviously helpful 10% reduction of damage, which really helps for speed runs of wanders palace, helps healer a lot when its applied to 10 mobs for 20 seconds. And i was disappointed by bards level fifty ability, wide volley which doesnt seem very useful. For and extra 20 tp for the same damage and a smaller radius than quick nock, the only advantage being its not a cone, and a true aoe. I mean even with its chance to proc no tp for rain of death, has anyone done the math? Is wide volley worth shooting for its chance for no tp needed for rain of death? Or is spamming quick nock the way to go and more damage and tp efficient?
