FULL AF2 vs Full Allagan Question

Taking into account how hard it is to find a good group to run Coils , Which is more time efficient? Farming Myth Every Week to Buy your AF2 or Farming Coils and Hoping you get a Drop which is partly luck.

If 1 Player only farm Myth Tomes while another player who only ran Coil, who would have full set first ?

I ask because I can't always promise to run Coils with FC on certain days like most FC do because my schedule Fluctuates. Doing Coils with PUGs is impossible from my experience.

Get AF2. When you begin to accumulate both, it would actually do you some good to mix and match them to see your results. So you should eventually get both anyways.

full set of pure mytho/allagan or full set of ilvl90 gear(mytho & allagan)?

if full set of ilvl90 gear (mytho & allagan) - coil player
if full set of pure mytho - farmer FTW

1. e range of drop is too big, itz been 3~4wks i seen any of mine allagan gear drop in my coil party
2. even if drop i still need to win the loot

Grinding WP and grinding the coils go hand in hand, mathematically speaking you won't get a full allagan set until after your full AF2 set- but if you should be planning your gear according to what drops at what turn depending on where your team is.

Research on what you can expect on what boss was posted here though I can't guarantee the accuracy, but it's a good start to planning what piece of myth you want to buy first.
