BIG Problem in Brayflox's Longstop Dungeon

LOL! Seriously... Thems the breaks. I've not gotten a piece of gear in like my last 20 runs or so... That's just how it goes. You don't just get what you want because you've run it a bunch of times. Nonsense. Sounds like you're unlucky with drops just like myself. lol.

I did this dungeon for 6 hours straight with a full premade group of all competent players doing it super quickly and never saw the final boss drop infantry body or legs. Got every other piece of the set, but seriously, 6 hours of running the dungeon and nothing but infinite mage/tank loot? It's insane. Coil is the same way, but instead of tank and healer loot you only get DPS loot, and NEVER any tank or healer loot. Pretty much every coil group has the same problem.

I think they messed up the coding for loot in some dungeons.

I farmed that dungeon from 32 to 39. Took me about 40ish runs to collect the Calvary Set. I saw more Infantry pieces than anything.

It's random.

EDIT: Or it was random. I did that not too long after release. Totally possible that SE could have broken something in the mean time.

You must have very bad luck, I've ran it a lot on my PLD. Managed to get full infantry before I got the cavalry set, and I'm still missing the head piece.

It's random, we just have to deal with it.

If this annoys you wait until HM primal weapon farming.

Nothing's broken as far as the loot system's concerned, but one thing they could add, as it has been mentioned before in this thread, is to have the RNG factor in only the items that people in the party can actually use. Shouldn't be too hard to implement...right?
