I wouldn't say Vital (as that states this MMO can't succeed without being able to Swim and Jump and I can promise you Tera didn't get even remotely popular at one point because of the ability to jump, swim or climb.)

They can introduce an area with Leviathan without the need to Swim, which from what I remember, Yoshida said in an expansion if he deems it necessary he'll add swimming but it's not in the current plans at all.

If the content requires it, it'll be vital. That is what I'm saying.
