I already mentioned a million reasons why they should implement jumping.
Exploration, variety, realism, acrobatics, convenience, anti-frustrating...
The issue isn't that I ask "Why?" but rather that you cannot answer the question.
Funny that people upbraid me for asking "why" and yet that's all anti-jumpers ever do.
"You dont need jumping because there's no reason for it" is all you ever say.
Then I give a reason and the response changes to:
"You would break your ankle."
Well let me break my ankle then! I am willing to pay that price. Hmm, broken ankle or not being able to jump? Either way Im still lame!

Arguments tend to go in circles, while discussions result to some sort of conclusion. Arguing about adding jump isn't going help in SE making that decision, but finding a way to make the implementation worthwhile is what we should all be doing, hence why the nay-sayers are saying "There isn't a reason to add it yet."
Instead of saying "GRRR JUST ADD IT SE YOU STUPID DUMBNUM!" Maybe you should be asking them to implement hard to reach areas, or areas only accessable by Chocobo, Jump, etc.
