you DO realize that I am on the dont-give-a-shit boat. I'm simply stating why they dont need to implement it NOW. And they wont, so this battle is won.

For someone who is on the dont-give-a-shit boat, you do seem to lean on the "against jumping" side. Especially when you say they should implement stuff the game was not designed for. The same could be said about a lot of features that are planned for the game..... i think your logic is quite out of place especially in a game like FFXIV which's lacking so much.
