90-95% of mmos have starships and aliens? That's some news to me, Goddamn we should too then! The empire in FFXIV sure has the technology for it and aliens(Jenova FFVII) is not unheard of in a FF game. Another invalid argument.

You can read back on the multiple threads (some of which opened by the same troll that quite obviously thinks that his issues are much more important than anyone else's and deserve multiple places to be discussed, lol) on this topic and find plenty.

because that someone has posted such arguments multiple time, and he doesn't need to repeat them for your sake, especially due to the fact that your opinion on the matter is completely inconsequential to what will be implemented or not in the game. Convincing you or any other random forum poster with very selective reading abilities is of zero importance.

No, dev agree jump is needed, in fact they suggested it. The only thing that happened now is that they decided the battle and the complete rework of the game was to be done first.

Personally, i don't care if i can jump or not as long as you can't bunny-hop spam. That's one of the biggest complaints for most people (esp. FF11 players). There are ways around jump spamming, so i hope SE takes this into consideration.

Argue all you guys want, but in the long run, its up to the devs. To be honest, there is no telling whether they are implementing it or not, but they really need to give a yes or no so that this argument can finally die.

I also mentioned earlier... and is a question for the people that want jumping.

What kind of jumping do you want? Collision-based? Manual/Free?

Free Jumping is not needed, in my opinion. But Collision-based would probably be the best of both worlds. the fact that it makes your character look more livelier than just walking/running is what people want right?

LMAO, not that he is afraid, but there is no need for Free-Jump. Collision-Based I can support 100% though. Jumping in general is a visual effect, it does not serve any purpose or is needed with the way the world is right now.

Jumping alone does not equal awesome. Like others have mentioned, if it served a meaningful purpose then maybe.

In a game that needs more important things done, I think it's useless to whine about not having jump now. It's not an all or nothing thing. I wouldn't cry & run away to another game if they ever implemented jump. I just think your arguments for it aren't strong & the game doesn't need it. So it annoys me to see a petition demanding an unimportant thing.
