I would love to have scalable terrain and platforming elements that use jump. It will probably never happen in this game, though.

And? Should we demand starships and aliens because other MMOs have it?
You can read back on the multiple threads (some of which opened by the same troll that quite obviously thinks that his issues are much more important than anyone else's and deserve multiple places to be discussed, lol) on this topic and find plenty.
Again, the fact that an argument isn't valid *for you* has absolutely no bearing on it's actual validity. No one is here to convince you, as convincing you, or any other random forum poster, is absolutely inconsequential.

90-95% of mmos have starships and aliens? That's some news to me, Goddamn we should too then! The empire in FFXIV sure has the technology for it and aliens(Jenova FFVII) is not unheard of in a FF game. Another invalid argument.
Why would i read back when i have someone against Jumping right here trying to make his point but is yet to provide me with a single argument against jumping. You can read back on the multiple threads (some of which opened by the same troll that quite obviously thinks that his issues are much more important than anyone else's and deserve multiple places to be discussed, lol) on this topic and find plenty.

Dude just give it up you lost that battle...
Again, i'm sorry, you're not the judge of the validity of an argument. Sorry to burst a bubble
because that someone has posted such arguments multiple time, and he doesn't need to repeat them for your sake, especially due to the fact that your opinion on the matter is completely inconsequential to what will be implemented or not in the game. Convincing you or any other random forum poster with very selective reading abilities is of zero importance. Why would i read back when i have someone against Jumping right here trying to make his point but is yet to provide me with a single argument against jumping.
Oh really? and I lost it because you say so?Dude just give it up you lost that battle...[/B]
Looking at the producer letter looks like we're winning that battle, and that's exactly the reason why you're raging![]()
I'm not judging, just using common sense. No bubble bursted don't worry!
There is no need to repeat those fabled valid arguments against jumping yet you repeated what, 3 times now that there is arguments somewhere instead of telling me what these arguments are and end this debate. I'm just following your logic, you seem to think we shouldn't have jump because you and some other people say so.
You talk about selective reading, yet Yoshi-P wrote that it's on low priority for now, which makes sense as the core gameplay mechanics are broken and need fixing asap. And you read what? "Jumping features is abolished" lol....

I actually pray we don't have to jump around to evade. Actually, if added, we shouldn't be able to jump while in combat.
Exploration on the other hand sounds fun.
Well yeah you can't have dodging by jumping if a game's combat won't let you.. especially if they are going back to auto-attack.
Elexia, you are so funny
