You're right. Prioritizing jumping should be key. That will bring the masses to this game and make it enjoyable for everyone!from the 10th letter, it's look like they are not going to implement Jumping/falling system because they thought it's a lower priority
so I want everyone who want to be able to jump of the cliff, swim in the lake, run with the wind, make your extremely travel around Eorzea... please LIKE this thread and share your opinions, Thanks

Jump feature, no thank you. If anything add FF style jump a la FFX-2 and XIII. Other than that please don't add it.
I am against jumping. If the landscape is properly designed there is no need for it. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of children running around with nodding birds hitting their space bar bunny-hopping around the place.
Unless there is a specific game mechanic that requires you to jump... Hopping over a gap, avoiding a NMs ability, or something similar, I don't think it should be added purely as a toy.
Heya!
Lessee... why do you want jump, and which type of jump do you want?
Let's discuss it like this, because until now I see only The sake of jumping as the only reason to have it.
Personally, I'd like to have jump, a FFXIII jump, so I could jump over cliffs by simply going forward and pressing The Button to Jump.
I can't see a free jumping in game tho.
Jumping postponed? Holy crap.
I thought the man had some of his priorities wrong, but no longer. Hopefully he keeps postponing it until the first expansion.
How I understand it is when ,for example, your character reach an edge it will automatically jump or maybe slide (same as FFX-2) as a way to solve the problem of not being able to pass that 1 feet edge. If this is the case, then they should implement it.
If they are going to assign a button for jumping then NO, THANKS.
the first expansion
