Activities for Over 4 Member Parties?

I have a group of six friends that play regularly every week. The only problem is we have more than four people and sometimes one or two people have to sit out a dungeon crawl because the dungeon requires 4 members.

I'm wondering if there are any activities for a party size over four? I know there is a full party dungeon at some point in the game, but until then, what can we do as the awkward six member party? We really want to play together as an entire group. Any suggestions? Thanks!

FATE's and Party EXP's are the only ones right now.

As far as instanced content goes, you could grab 2 others and do Coil, if you have the right combination of jobs. CM is 8 man but it's a horrible place.

I wish 4 mans were 5-6 man, and 8 mans were 10-12. Right now too many DPS seem to get left out.

CM, Praetorium, the HM Primals, Coil are the current 8-member content.

Crystal Tower is going to be 24-member.

Our group originally had 6 as well. We simply recruited 2 permanent members when we started coil. Prior to that, we would fill the remaining slots with randoms for primals/cm/prae.

For the 4 man content, split into two groups and fill with randoms. Or, you know, recruit.

I miss 5 man groups, I have hated 4 man parties from day one. And I miss big open world fun like dynamis. Sixty four people, those were the days.
