I wish they showed with ur name
There was a thread about this way back in 1.xx and I'm going to say the exact same thing I said then: I want to use a title I like specifically for the title itself, and not have to use whatever title gives me the best stats for what I'm doing.
In the original 2.0 screenshot, character titles were displayed with character names. I would like to see that eventually.
... only somewhat related, but I'm sad Lady Protector still takes ages to get. It has always been one of my favorite titles. :c
Because it's fun.
That said, XI had better titles.
Titles should be shown beneath the name (and you should be able to turn this off, though it should be on by default).
When you examine another player their title will be in the character menu above or below their name I think. Also their title can be shown in the search function. It is just a way to show that you have completed a hard task in the game. I personally like them. They were fun in FFXI.I truly don't understand the point of the in-game titles like "Archmage" etc. Which I don't deny, I worked my butt off for the Archmage title, but i felt no sense of accomplishment being that, I don't believe other players can see said titles, plus at the same time, they grant not additional bonus' (Which I've seen done in other MMO's) and they're just.....there kinda. So what's the use for or purpose of titles? I'd personally hunt the titles if I knew there was some form of self reward or something for going after them. Is there some form of perk to them in 2.1 or something? Or am i missing something current about them that I'm unaware of?
Why not use them instead of "Fresh Meat" in PvP?
