Personally, I'd prefer it if they buffed Leves and Guildhests so that they weren't practically useless to level with. In their current form Leves are only useful for crafting classes and Guildhests are useless beyond the 1st time you complete them.

Let them nerf it. Levelling multiple classes past 34 is pointless anyway.

Notice everyone complaining about fates giving too much exp are the ones who already got level 50 on most of their classes doing said fates? They are the same griefers who decided to kill Lambs on Dark Devices so that others couldn't take advantage of the exp that they were able to get.
Ad hominem. Address the argument, not the person.Notice everyone complaining about fates giving too much exp are the ones who already got level 50 on most of their classes doing said fates? I see no alternative to nerfing FATEs: it has raised a generation of players who do not know how to play the game at all, players who show up in level 50 dungeons with GC gear and no understanding whatsoever of their classes, players who can't tank or heal or interrupt or avoid AoE. FATE experience is far too great and the effort far too little. The reward is shared, so if I'm late to the party and get off one Piercing Talon just before NM dies, I still get gold reward. Even if dungeon XP gets a big boost, people will still go the easy route -- no queues, no gear damage, no potential for failure.
yup agree with OP, I feel like FATEs are not giving space to any other content.
You can't cure stupidity.
I do fates, and I know the role in parties. To a large extent because I READ and I ASK and I try and do some dungeons on the way to practice. It is my choice to be good, and their choice to be terrible.
The fates are completely unrelated to this problem. If you are WILLING to learn your role, you can do it fine in a fate party. Not in ALL fates, but a handful of them.
Absolutely, positively hell friggin no. You can buff the Dungeon XP up to the level of FATEs, but slowing the rate of FATEs (and consequently the rate of XP gain) is completely unacceptable. Keep the FATE XP and rate just as it is so that leveling time remains the same. But buff Dungeon XP so that people who don't like FATEs can level at a similar rate.
LMAO. If there were any "griefers" it was the people being incredibly rude to others who just wanted to continue the FATE. What you don't seem to get is that it was the Follower farmers that were the selfish, inconsiderate people. You see, if you were solo, in a small group, or in a group that didn't manage to "claim" the followers, you didn't get any XP. If your group wasn't the one to claim the Followers (colored Red instead of Purple), then it was impossible for you to get XP for them because you couldn't do enough damage to them before they were killed.Notice everyone complaining about fates giving too much exp are the ones who already got level 50 on most of their classes doing said fates? They are the same griefers who decided to kill Lambs on Dark Devices so that others couldn't take advantage of the exp that they were able to get.
So let's say there were 50 people at the Dark Devices FATE. Only 8 people were regularly getting XP from killing the Followers (because the group farming camped all the spawn points and used Flash to claim them). The other 42 people were helping those 8 people get huge amounts of XP and not getting anything themselves. Possibly 1 or 2 claims every 10 spawns or so. And so those other 42 people were hugely inconvenienced by the "entitled few" if they respected the entitled whiners wishes. And they were blasted with all sorts of nasty, hurtful tells if one of the entitled whiners noticed someone killing lambs because they didn't want to waste their time helping others get rich off XP.
SE made an incredibly smart decision changing it.
