BARD NERF [requesting more details to the devs]

BRD has low damage as a DPS,

I think this is just all you. Our Brds are always on the top end of the meters, constantly running mp/tp song when needed, and have silences. I would take a bard in every group even if they did get a slight nerf. They are just too good to have. If you are at the bottom of dps then should probably look at your rotation and see what you're doing wrong

Though I do agree that people should always look at their damage rotations and try to improve. It is more likely your other dps classes that are not performing to potential if they are getting beaten by a bard, especially if they are running songs.

I suggest you to take a sit whit all the other dps and try to understad why BRDs (using songs) can outperform them. BRD currently is close to the bottom of the DPS chart

Only event you'd ever need songs/silence from BRD to worth a spot is coil. Everything else, lv 50 dungeons/primal if you try to join a party as BRD they will replay with "BRD no thanks" if damage is nerfed. In fact they don't always taking BRD for Titan/AK, many AK /shout party often /shout for a melee DPS, this is before damage nerf.

And that is specifically what I don't want to see it happen. I don't want every BRD ended up having to beat titan by having 4~5 other DPS carrying him, and job change to another job to farm mythology.

If the damage nerf is huge, you'll see people find a way to beat coil without a BRD and find a solution to MP/TP/silence issue.
