You only have ARC at 50... brd is lvl 30... why do you feel that you can comment on this issue? lol
Its not an issue of needed or not, we play to maximize everything. We will not fill the raid whit brd's if the same spot could be taken by better classes.
i personally have every class/job/profession capped at 50. every class whit atleast relic + full DL. I can choose what i want to play, yet i want to know more about this issue.
I could talk about the mechanics of the current endgame and why a nerfed Bard could be a problem, but.. come on you never played endgame.. and your BRD is lvl 30... lol

ok, next please... cant wait now xD

Just because someone has never done it doesn't mean that do not know what they are talking about. How could a BRD be replaced if you are using the songs? No other class DPS or not can do that. You can act all high and mighty as you want but you really are just thinking too much. No other class can offer the support BRD does and if your team uses the support BRD has and NEEDS it then how would you replace it? Mage's Ballad is by far the one thing most people use BRDs for (true mine just hit 30 last night but I tend to watch streams while at work (students have been being sent home most days thanks to these typhoons that are currently hitting us so no classes to teach). So just think about that for a second. Remove the BRD remove the Ballad your healers run outa MP. Ok replace bard with another healer to help. You are either going to be overhealing often and probably also lose substantial DPS because he did say a "little". Replace BRD with another DPS you lose Ballad and healers don't have the MP to cure that extra DPS. You replace BRD with another tank, three tanks and still not enough MP to keep them all alive and a drop in DPS.

Everything I just typed is logical EVEN if I have no personally done it yet. I have played MMOs most of my life and can, yes believe it or not, think logical about things I have not personally done yet.
