BARD NERF [requesting more details to the devs]

As you people know, in the next 2.1 patch Bards will get a nerf. Yoshida said in the interview "We currently feel that the bards are a little too strong due to the amount of damage they can do without being impacted that much from the fight."

I think this could mean 2 different thing:

a) we get a damage nerf and we keep our "mobility" (chunk of potency removed from skills)
b) they reduce our mobility and we keep the "damage" (added cast bar or tassative positional "buff" added to the game)
Im currently farming TURN 4 whit my FC, and we are used to play whit atleast 4 parser up while doing events.
BRD is NOT (and i reapeat NOT) capable of doing the DPS that the other class can do in endgame (endgame = coil)
Now as a main BRD id like to know more details about the future nerf because as now, with the "capped x week" contents i cant afford to spend more time and effort in a class that could be destroyed in the next patch.

Nerfed=\=destroyed. Too many ppl screaming it\\'s the end of the world when it could end up being "added a cast time to bloodletter" or something tiny.

It may not be a problem for you, but for me it is. My static move as one, we could focus the effort in gearing the 2 main BRDs into something else instead of waiting for whatever the devs decide the BRD to be. We assign loot to make our static stronger, and this impact the loot assignment
In a game like this one,in this year and whit the current endgame player base you cannot simply say "hmm we think that X does too much Y" and leave whitout giving more info on the problem.

nerf or no nerf, if you have a bard, it should be geared.
if not then level another class and gear that.

I dont know about you guys, but i farm TURN4 like i farmed AK at release. My BRD is probably better geared then the majority of the people telling me "itsn not the end of the world".

No one said that, im just requesting more info from the devs. Because (it may shock you guys, take a sit) we are paying customers and we can voice our problems with the product we bought/are paying for. If you guys dont need to/want to optimize your static/fc/whatever, it is not my problem.
We play for the group and assigning ilvl90 must be done correctly.
If we have to regear our BRD's we want to know it now, not whenever they feel to give us a bone (lolsemi translate from japanese patch note 2 days after the patch hit the game).

OP you already said that your BRDs, geared as they are, are not top DPS which means you are using them for the utility of song correct? If not you would be playing the top DPS classes which I am assuming is DRG. The reason so many of us are saying to not worry about it is because will your group honestly cut out that utility when you are already not top DPS? I doubt it so there is really no reason for your worry cause you will still be needed to sing. ^^

You only have ARC at 50... brd is lvl 30... why do you feel that you can comment on this issue? lol
Its not an issue of needed or not, we play to maximize everything. We will not fill the raid whit brd's if the same spot could be taken by better classes.
i personally have every class/job/profession capped at 50. every class whit atleast relic + full DL. I can choose what i want to play, yet i want to know more about this issue.
I could talk about the mechanics of the current endgame and why a nerfed Bard could be a problem, but.. come on you never played endgame.. and your BRD is lvl 30... lol
