ummm.... I don't understand. So... what happened to our anima? Are we still able to use it?

You know it say it right there? requires a great deal of spiritual energy, known as anima. While many individuals, such as adventurers, possess the fortitude to endure such travel, some individuals do not.

It mean we have so much anima that it does not affect us like normal npc. Pretty much in 1.0 we had a limit before we can no longer endure such travel. But now sense it 2.0 and i'm guessing our body have way more spiritual energy that we can travel as many time as we wish but we pay for it because it cost way to much to build./

Nobody works for free for they time they were reconstructing. I would rather go back to paying in anima.

PSexpert, it's stated specifically in the game that the teleport fees go towards repaying the debt the citystates paid to fund the reconstruction of the aetheryte network - in particular, it was a group of wealthy Ul'dah businessmen who funded it. Hence the teleport fees are indeed a tax to repay this debt.

The original aetherytes didn't need this as they were apparently ancient relics of a bygone civilization (Allag Empire?) - it's the nature of the beast I'm afraid.

Funny you say that when back in that time, I have no problem managing my anima and never really ran it out. I even rarely taking airship, except boats since I enjoy watching the endless sea.

I wish they implemented some type of way of putting that money back in the community. I spend a crap load of money on tele.

The whole point of these things costing players money is to serve as a money sink. It serves to remove gil from circulation and prevent or mitigate inflation. To give it back would completely nullify it.

Speak for yourself. I Chocobo everywhere and ride the airship any time I have to go to Limsa. I admit that I do generally Return when I go back to Gridania (my home point). I'd rather take a bit longer to get where I'm going than waste my Gil.

I could fight Coil naked and use "walk" all the time, doesn't mean there is a point in doing so except me making things more annoying for myself for no actual reason.
